Unable to install SAM Foundation (com.snc.sams) on PDI - from Manage Instance page and Applications

Hello,
I would like to install SAM Foundation (not SAM Pro) on my PDI.
com.snc.sams
I am not finding this plugin on my PDI . I have checked 2 places - Application Manager , and the new Manage Instance page on the developer website.
The Manage Instance page has the SAM Pro plugin, but I am looking to have just the SAM Foundation plugin installed.

Any guidance is appreciated

The samp plugin is for SAM pro.

The sams plugin is for the ITSM feature  - Software Asset Management Foundation 

Here is the link to SN Docs that calls out the difference.  Customers are supposed to request the SAM Foundation plugin via a Now Support request . However  , I do not see any options to activate the ITSM version - i.e - SAM Foundation on a PDI without installing SAM Pro

That reference in the docs doesn't apply to the PDI environment.

Downloading samp and SAM Foundations onto a PDI doesn't mean you have installed SAM Pro. To install SAM Pro requires a separate action you need to take from the developer site.

Here's the evidence:

I've got samp and SAM Foundations installed on my PDI, but when I log into the developer site, it shows SAMP Pro isn't installed:

I may have found out why we are talking over each other 🙂 My PDI is on Xanadu, and on Xanadu, installation of  Software Asset Management (sn_itam_samp)  requires installation of SAM Pro (com.snc.samp). 

Whereas, a PDI on Zurich allows the installation of SAM Foundation (com.snc.sams) with the installation of Software Asset Management (sn_itam_samp)
