Happy Friday All,
My company recently just implemented SAMPro. Currently we are getting software installation info from SCCM utilizing the service graph connector.
What happens when an application is uninstalled from an asset? Does the record remain linked to the computer forever? Is the software installation record automatically deleted?
Thank you,

Hi,
There is a set process that occurs to remove those software installations depending on the CI status, this thread has a discussion with a SN employee: https://www.servicenow.com/community/sam-forum/best-way-to-remove-old-software-installed-entries-fro...
Alternatively, you can follow this documentation for a manual step: https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/utah-it-asset-management/page/product/software-asset-manage...
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

Hi, The reclamation request will be created and assigned it to the appropriate team. The team uninstalls the software then the entry will be removed from the cmdb_sam_sw_install table. You can see the result in the OOB dashboard and report.
