The visibility of the Knowledge Management Dashboard is set to the knowledge role. However, a user with this role is seeing an error. The user does not have the knowledge_manager role. The dashboard works fine for users with the knowledge_manager role, but we cannot assign this role to everyone. Why is this error occurring? What can we do to fix it

Hi @aparnaravi ,
As seen from the snippet, you are having access issue on report not the dashboard. Kindly open the report and share it with required roles. PFB for more info.
If this helped you, pls mark this as helpful and accepted.

The error for each report on the dashboard indicates that the reports do not give permission to all users to view them. To resolve this problem:
- open each report [click on three dots and edit each report]
- look at the 'share' access. Give access to a group X [add the role in the group] who needs access to see them on the dashboard
- once all the reports on the dashboard have been given access to this group X, ensure you give the dashboard access to the group X
This will allow to resolve the current issue and in the future when a new user needs to be given access to the dashboard, add them ONLY to the group X and they will have access to the reports on the dashboard also.
Hope this helps with the issue. Once you find this solution helpful, please mark it 'helpful' and 'accepted' so that others can find this solution too. Thanks
