Give FeedbackOverview
The Related Dashboards page is part of the Assistant Analytics dashboard in Assistant Designer. It gives you a single place to browse Platform Analytics dashboards that have been made available across your organization, without having to navigate out of the Assistant Analytics experience to find them.
The library can include dashboards that ship out of the box and custom dashboards contributed by your team. To access it, navigate to All > Assistant Designer, select the subtab for Analytics and select Related Dashboards in the left navigation.
Family Release: Zurich Patch 7
Navigating the Dashboard Library
Dashboards in the library appear as cards. Each card displays the dashboard name, a brief description of its purpose, category tags (for example, Default or Custom), and who last updated it and when. You can toggle between grid and list layout using the icons at the top of the library.
Search and filter
Three options help you narrow the library:
- Search: filter by name or description using the search bar
- Pinned dashboards: show only dashboards you have pinned as favorites
- All Dashboards: show the full library
The library supports pagination for organizations with a large number of dashboards.
Dashboard actions
From the Actions menu on any dashboard card, you can:
- Pin / Unpin: add or remove the dashboard from your Pinned dashboards section
- View: open the dashboard in full view
- Edit: change the display name or description
- Remove: remove the dashboard from the library (does not delete the underlying Platform Analytics dashboard)
Adding a Dashboard to the Library
Before adding a dashboard, make sure you have completed two prerequisite steps in Platform Analytics:
- Configure the dashboard visibility to include Assistant Designer. See Configure Platform Analytics dashboard details for guidance.
- Share the dashboard with the virtual_agent_admin role. See Share a Platform Analytics dashboard for guidance.
Steps
- Select Add Dashboard in the Dashboard Library.
- Fill in the Add Dashboard form using the fields described below.
- Select Add to save the dashboard to the library.
The dashboard appears in All Dashboards. If you checked Pin dashboard, it also appears immediately in the Pinned dashboards section.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Required. Search for and select an existing Platform Analytics dashboard to add to the library. |

A Few Things Worth Knowing
A couple of behaviors to keep in mind when working with the dashboard library:
Removing a dashboard does not delete it
Removing a dashboard from the library only removes it from the Related Dashboards page. The underlying dashboard in Platform Analytics remains intact.
Display Name and Description are independent from Platform Analytics
The Display Name and Description shown on the library card are separate from the dashboard's name in Platform Analytics. You can use these fields to make the purpose clearer for your users without touching the source dashboard.
Wrapping Up đ
The Related Dashboards page keeps your Platform Analytics dashboards within reach for the users who need them, without requiring them to navigate outside of Assistant Analytics. For admins, it is a lightweight way to curate what is visible and ensure the right dashboards are discoverable.
