Hi,
We have a requirement like we need to send notifications from related to Case Management and SLA of cases from 'abc@mail.com'
because our production instance has some other applications like ITSM, changing the existing SMTP mail addresss reflects to other applications

Hi,
If any of my replies thus far have been Helpful, please mark as such.
When they receive that email from the address you specified in the "From" and they click reply...it goes back to your instance email. Not the custom cosmetic from address 🙂
And yes, as I thought this was obvious, you aren't creating a brand new email address when you use this from field, you are spoofing it like an alias and so if needed, you could let your network/email team know this so that they can allow these to pass through (if not already allowed).
You could try it first, see if anyone has any issues, then go from there.
The point of all this, my replies, was to show that your requirements could still be met, without multiple smtp accounts.
Please mark this reply as Helpful/Correct, if applicable. Thanks!

Be aware, using the From field (even though it is mentioned also on the Docs) can be considered spoofing and resulting in emails not being delivered.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,
Mark

Do we need to configure the other smtp address in 'Email Accounts' or simply provide the email address in the 'From' field of Notifications?
