We have a set of KB articles that contain training modules that end users have to read and acknowledge -- after that they gain a skill. I recently stumbled upon the Skills Management plugin.
Has anyone built a feature that took advantage of the Knowledge Base and Skills Management plugin? Leaders create training courses by leveraging on existing KB articles, assign those training courses to certain users or groups, track training progress and skills gained.

[Not an answer, I'm afraid]
I wanted to use similar functionality around an End User Agreement Policy. There is also a Governance application, but I don't know what functionality comes with it.
I'm leaning towards building a table to track acceptance of the KB article, along with the date accepted by user, so I can then manage expiration and renewal, as well.
It occurred to me that I could use the Approval workflow, but I'm afraid of performance issues with thousands of Approvals.
