Unable to update Survey Questions

I create a survey few months back using new Survey designer and published.
Now that when i am trying to update that survey under metric categories i am unable to see 'Details' field. But i can see 'Details' field if go through survey designer view, and when i update this field the value is not saving.

Some good discussion that may be of some value here:
It looks like because the minute you access the URL for the survey this creates an instance of the survey for *you*. And until you do something with this assessment instance, the older version is the one you see.
If you then change the the published version of the survey you've created, the preview will show the latest version, but if you reload the URL in another tab then you will access the previously created instance of the survey without the new fields you just added. So, it looks like it is reverting it, but is basically just showing the version without changes, not removing yours.
There are steps to take, one of which being: "Navigate to the Survey instance the system created for you (Survey->Survey Instances (asmt_instance)) open the record, and use the 'take assessment' UI action then click the 'Submit' button (therefore marking the survey as Complete)." There are other answers that seemed to work in the discussion above.
