When attempting to setup another walk-up location, with an" Appointment Booking Service Configuration" you are required to include a "catalog item".
If you select the default 'Walk-up Appointment Booking' catalog item it produces the following error:
Understandingly as it's being used by another walk-up location...
However, If I create a brand new Catalog item as suggested, I cannot see any variables for the "User Contact" field which is mandatory:
A 'user contact' variable has been created with the newly created catalog item, but it seems to be filtering it out...
Any assistance appreciated!

Nevermind, I was able to figure it out (though it is not well documented).
When creating the new catalog item, you need to include the OOTB variable set called "sn_walk_variable_set" which will include the user contact variable:

Additional note:
Make sure to include both variable sets (sn_appointment_variable_set & sn_walkup_variable_set), otherwise your appointment will not have a "window start"/"window end" date.

Hello, I am trying to configure the appointment scheduling for walk up on our service portal. Im not seeing any dates, or schedules. All I see is the Location Contact and reason. Not sure what I have not configured.
Thank you
Darlene

Hello, I am also trying to configure the appointment schedule for walk-ups. Given that when I follow the above advice, all locations are selectable from any of the appointment catalogue items, why do we need unique ones?
