If your flow designer is not triggering upon submission of the catalog item, there could be a few potential issues to investigate:
Flow Trigger Configuration: Double-check the trigger configuration in your flow designer. Ensure that the trigger is set to activate when the catalog item is submitted. Sometimes, the trigger conditions or settings might not be correctly configured.
Flow Activation: Ensure that the flow itself is active and not in a draft or inactive state. Only active flows will trigger as expected.
Permissions: Check if the user submitting the catalog item has the necessary permissions to trigger the flow. Sometimes, permission settings can restrict who can trigger flows.
Logs and Debugging: Review any logs or debugging tools available in your flow designer or catalog item configuration. This can help identify if there are any specific errors or issues occurring at the time of submission.
Integration Issues: If your flow involves external systems or APIs, ensure that the integration points are correctly configured and accessible.
System Maintenance: Occasionally, system maintenance or updates can temporarily affect flow triggers. Check if there are any ongoing maintenance activities that might be impacting your setup.
