Modify system-generated forecast values based on your judgment and prediction. Sales agents can adjust their individual forecasts and managers can modify team forecasts to align with overall targets. Sales managers can
override team-level adjustments and the system automatically recalculates the roll-ups to reflect the updated forecast values.
Before you begin

Procedure

Navigate to .

Select the List icon
.

Navigate to My lists
> Sales Forecast
> Forecast.

Select the forecast header record to view your forecast items.

Select Forecast Items on the Details tab to view all the forecast items.

Select the forecast item that you want to adjust.
The Details tab for that forecast item is displayed.

Select the Forecast Adjustment tab.

In the Adjusted Value field, enter the new forecast value that is different from Hierarchy Forecast value.

Enter a description for the adjusted value in the Reason field.

Select Save.
On your forecast item, the Owner Adjustment field displays the adjusted forecast value and the Hierarchy Forecast value displays the original forecast value.
