AI strategy tab in AI Control Tower

The AI strategy tab includes information about all the AI-related priorities, goals, planning items, and execution items—projects and demands in the AI Control Tower workspace.

This tab helps you track and monitor AI-related work across various sections—Strategy, Costs, Prioritized AI work, and AI Risks, Issues, Decisions, Actions, and Request Changes (RIDAC)—enabling you to make informed decisions. The tab displays the AI-related work defined in ServiceNow® Goal Framework, the ServiceNow® Strategic Planning, and ServiceNow® PPM Standard.

Strategy

The Strategy section helps you monitor and track your AI strategic priorities, goals, and targets associated with these goals.

Strategic priorities with the Type field set to Artificial Intelligence and goals with the Category field set to Artificial Intelligence in the Goal Framework application appear in the Strategy section in the AI Control Tower workspace, enabling you to monitor their progress effectively. Costs

The Costs section helps you track the costs of your AI planning items—such as projects, epics, and demands—by comparing planned cost, budgeted cost, and actual cost.

Planning items with the Investment type field set to Artificial Intelligence in the Strategic Planning Workspace appear in the Costs section in the AI Control Tower workspace, enabling you to monitor their progress effectively. For details, see Add planning items to Prioritization.

Prioritized AI work

The Prioritized AI work section helps you track your projects, epics, demands being planned and done around AI.

Planning items with the Investment type field set to Artificial Intelligence and the State field set to Prioritized in the Strategic Planning Workspace appear in the Prioritized AI work section in the AI Control Tower workspace, enabling you to monitor their progress effectively. AI RIDAC

The AI RIDAC section helps you monitor key project risks, issues, decisions, actions, and changes, enabling you to make informed decisions.

Projects that meet any of the following criteria appear in the AI RIDAC section in the AI Control Tower workspace, enabling you to monitor their progress effectively:

• Projects with the Investment type field set to Artificial Intelligence in PPM Standard (Project Management or Project Workspace). For details, see Create a project from Project Workspace and Add a RIDAC record to a project in Project Workspace.
• The Category field on the associated primary goal record is set to Artificial Intelligence in Goal Framework or Strategic Planning Workspace. For details, see Create a goal in Goal Framework and Create a goal in Strategic Planning.
• The Type field on the strategic priority of the associated primary goal is set to Artificial Intelligence in Goal Framework or Strategic Planning Workspace. For details, see Create a strategic priority for a strategic plan.
