Create an AI connection for Salesforce

Create an AI connection for Salesforce in AI Control Tower using the  AI Service Graph Connector for Salesforce (Version 1.1.0).

Before you begin

Role required: sn_ai_disc.discovery_admin and sn_cmdb_int_util.sgc_admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to AI Control Tower > . > Configuration > AI connections.
2. Select Salesforce from the available connectors and then select Create connection.
3. Review setup instructions page displays.
   Note:

   Verify to follow all the prerequisite steps.
4. Enter the details on Create and test connection:
   1. Enter the Connection Name.
   2. Enter the Connection URL.
   3. Enter the OAuth Client ID.
   4. Enter the OAuth Token URL.
   5. Select Create and test connection.
   6. Select Continue.
5. Configure import schedule:
   1. Verify that both the parent-scheduled jobs, Discovery and Execution are active as they’re shipped inactive.
      Note:

      Ensure to execute the Discovery-scheduled job first.
   2. Select Run according to your preference.
   3. To run frequency by demand, select Execute now.
      Note:

      This is an optional step as the schedule imports run according to the schedule.
   4. Select Continue.
6. Select the Confirm connection setup activity to verify whether the connection was configured.

Result

Select View all connections to review the connection details. The created connection appears in the Installed connections list.
