Add an alternate color palette
After you have created a theme, you can further customize it by creating an alternate color palette for the theme and applying it to your instance.
Before you begin

Procedure

Navigate to All > Now Experience Framework > Themes > Theme Builder.
The Theme Builder landing page displays in the Home page view.

From the Home button, select the Manager page view to see the themes you have previously defined.

In the theme you want to edit, select the More actions (
) icon, and select Add alternate color palette.
Step 1 of 6 appears. - Provide a Theme group name and the Color Palette name as needed, then select Next.

Define the colors for the alternate palette, selecting Next after defining each color:
- Primary
- Secondary
- Neutral
- Additional colors
When editing theme colors, you can view the contrast ratio in the color picker. The value updates when you change the color from the palette or My colors view.

When you have completed your entries in the 6 color palette definition screens, the Edit page for the current palette appears.Figure 3. Theme Builder Editor page -
On this screen, you can perform the following actions:
- Change the Theme name.
- Select any of the three colors defined in this palette and change them from the color picker.

To apply the theme to your instance, select Apply theme in the upper right corner.
Note:You can apply your theme to only web implementations of your instance, only mobile implementations, or both web and mobile implementations.

After you've made a selection, select Apply in the confirmation box.
Note:After you have created an alternate color palette and applied it to your instance, the palette is available for selection in the user's Theme preferences. For more information, see Select a theme in Next Experience.
