Azure Discovery Issue on Utah

Hi All,

When I tried configuring  the Azure discovery then the firdt error I got on the discovery home console was "Required attribute datacenter_type is missing for CI Type cmdb_ci_cloud_service_account"

based on that error I further debugged the Service Service Account pattern - step no 9 (get Azure management groups) and saw the below error:-

'Get Azure Subscriptions' with Error: Custom operation Cloud REST - add response to context failed to execute
script due to Custom operation Failed to run script due to the following error: JAVASCRIPT_CODE_FAILURE:
com.snc.sw.exception.CommandFailureException: Failed to execute cloud request.
Reason: SocketException:Connection reset (script_include:AzureApiCommand; line 58).

Also I am getting the error when I am trying to discover the subscriptions from the related list of the Azure credential  section

Discovery Subscription Error : Failed to execute API - Request not sent to
uri= https://login.windows.net/6996765a-6d6b-4f91-ad23-8095b3da9ff0/oauth2/token :
org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpException: Session contains no certificates - Untrusted
(script_include:AzureAPIInvoker; line 38)

Kindly help in resolving if anybody has already encountered this error.

Hello @Abhishek41 ,

It seems to me you may have an issue with permissions for the Azure Service Principal credential. Have you checked the permissions in Azure for the Service Principal account? Here are the permissions you will need for Azure Discovery: Create a Microsoft Azure service principal (servicenow.com)
