Hello Everyone,
Maybe a rather basic question, but it feels like I have missed something important. I am trying to enable Now Assist Skill Kit on our Instance for testing purposes, but haven't been able to figure it out yet.
I have validated the access criteria as per the docs and an article I found in the community:
- I have actived Now Assist for ITSM and Creator, which I have been testing lately
- I validated that the Now Assist plugins are on the latest versions
- Our instance has been upgraded to the Xanadu release patch 1 hotfix 2a
Still not able to see the required sn_skill_builder.admin role and NASK. Any help or advice here would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Marco

Hello Atul,
Thanks for the quick response. No, I'm not on a PDI. Testing Now Assist on our internal demo instance. All other Now Assist for ITSM and Now Assist for Creator skills are working fine, just NASK is not present.
Best regards,
Marco

Thanks Marco, if not available in plugins then as suggested by @Laurent5 , try in SN store.

To set up the Now Assist Skill Kit (NASK) in ServiceNow, follow these steps:
Prerequisites:
Active Now Assist License: Ensure your organization has an active license for the relevant Now Assist product.
Plugin Installation: Confirm that the Now Assist plugins are installed and updated to the latest versions on your instance.
Instance Version: Verify that your ServiceNow instance is upgraded to at least the Xanadu release.
Enabling Now Assist Skill Kit:
1. Accessing the Plugin:
Navigate to the Classic Application Manager in your ServiceNow instance.
Search for the plugin named sn_skill_builder.
If it's not listed, select Find in Store to locate and install it.
2. Assigning Roles:
After installation, assign the sn_skill_builder.admin role to users who will create and manage custom skills:
Click on your avatar, then select Profile.
Click on the three-bar menu in the top left corner, then navigate to View > Default View.
Scroll down to the related list named Roles and click Edit.
Add the role sn_skill_builder.admin to your user profile.
Click Save, then log out and log back in to apply the changes.
3. Accessing Now Assist Skill Kit:
In the filter navigator, type Now Assist Skill Kit to access the tool.
If it's not visible, ensure all prerequisites are met. If issues persist, consider opening a support case with ServiceNow for assistance.
By completing these steps, you can enable and access the Now Assist Skill Kit, allowing you to create and deploy custom generative AI skills tailored to your organization's specific requirements.
