Dear community, can somone please clarify which of the following options is correct? I cannot find any existing role called sys_admin, in my opinion it would be the role admin which is not there.
By default, which user role must verify the successful activation of plugins by ServiceNow support?
(a) asset_admin
(b) sam_user
(c) sys_admin
(d) sam_admin
Thanks for any inputs here.
David

Hi Pastrana, indeed there is no role called sys_admin, so the only answer is sam_admin, because its that role who is responsible to manage the SAM application, the admin just request the installation of plugins

This is a great example of bad exam question by ServiceNow.
1. There is no role sys_admin
2. This is a general question, nothing specific to SAM.
Correct answer would be admin. But as you can see in !documentation!, they are using this variant of admin. (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-it-asset-management/page/product/software-asset-managem...)
Based on the second point and the documentation, I would select sys_admin.
If the question was phrased differently "By default, which user role must verify the successful activation of SAM plugins by ServiceNow support?" I would vote for (d). As SAM Administrator can check all of the modules and verify, if something is missing/installed.
I know this is an old question, but it's still really relevant. I hope this answered your question. It actually is documented, but seems wrong
