Can you assign multiple resources to a single task? (i.e. for ongoing weekly meeting)

We are looking at the differences between our current integrated Project Management and Resource Capacity planning system and noticed that in ServiceNow   that only one resource can be assigned to a task,   At this time in our current system we can make a task for an item, like a weekly meeting, to allow resources to charge there time for the duratio of the project.   Can this also be done in SN?

How are you doing approvals? As far as I know we are not shipping any approval functionality for time cards till Istanbul.

So you may have to review your implementation why it is happening like that

we have made our Functional Manager timecard_admins and they have a filter for personnel assigned to them that they review on a weekly basis. They manually set each time card to approved or rejected. Can be pretty time consuming.

Ok so the redundant time cards which you see after approval - whom are they assigned? what is the task in them? do people enter time in them?

Do you think there is a bug where we are creating duplicate time cards?

The approved timecards I see after approval get assigned to me. They are all project tasks. Typically from a project I had setup but the project tasks themselves are not assigned to me. These time cards have 0 time on them. So I end up with some times over a hundred time cards with no time on them that I have submit for approval to my boss.

I believe it only does this for ones that I was the creator of the project task and the approver of the time card. Those are the only ones I see that get a time card created for me with no time on them. which I don't think should be happening other then the original time the project task is created for the time it took to set up the task.

We are using the PPM solution with the Jakarta release. My problem is when my PM's are building a schedule in Planning Console it doesn't give them the ability to add multiple resources to a single task. Example "Create Requirements" task needs multiple resources to work on it. How do I get around this?
