Workplace service delivery - Privacy setting for booking

In WSD, for a reservation booking to be made private, we have below three controls

1. System property to set which types of booking will be made default private

2. System property to override privacy

3. Fields at Building level to set privacy when someone books in that building

4. Workplace profile level we have option to set privacy user wise.

However, at Reservable module level we don't have any such segregation thus, if we enable Privacy for Reservations, and then by default it applies to all kinds of reservations.

Only option we have is to show the privacy checkbox whenever filling up reservation form and user himself unchecks it.

Is there any other option OOTB?  We want to make reservations for meeting rooms by default public and for desks by default private.

@Mohit Tewari ,

While the system offers various controls to manage reservation privacy, such as system properties, building level settings, and user specific preferences, there isn't an oob feature to set default privacy settings based on the type of reservable item (e.g., meeting rooms vs. desks).... Currently, enabling the Privacy for Reservations setting applies universally to all reservation types, and the only available option is to present users with a privacy checkbox during the reservation process, allowing them to manually adjust the privacy setting......

To implement a more granular approach where meeting rooms are set to public by default and desks to private, you would need to consider custom solutions..... One approach could involve leveraging the Reservable Module field to categorize spaces and then implementing business rules or UI policies that dynamically set the privacy based on the space type.... This would require custom scripting and thorough testing to ensure it aligns with your organization's requirements.....
