Add a playbook to your workflow
Add visibility and consistency to your workflow by adding a playbook to your app in ServiceNow Studio. The goal of this section is that when new Marketing Design Requests are submitted, the playbook opens in a new tab, providing clear context for the marketing team and ensuring they understand the purpose and importance of each step in the workflow.

Role required: admin or delegated_developer
Procédure
- Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
- Select File > Automation > Playbook.
- Select Continue.
- Enter Marketing Design Request in the Playbook name field.
- Select Build Playbook.

Select Start.
- Select Define your own conditions for when your process runs.
- Choose Record create for Trigger type.

Choose Marketing Design Request for Table.
- Select Done.

Select the (+) to add a new stage.
- Select Create a stage.
- Enter Create Design in the Label field.
- Select Save and close.
- Hover over the Create Design stage until the (+) buttons appear on either side.

Select the (+) to the right of the Create Design stage to add a second stage.
- Select Create a stage.
- Enter Review Design in the Label field.
- Select Save and close.
- Select the (+) button in the Create Design stage.

Select the Add an activity button in the popup.
- Select Autocompleting User Form under Common Activities.
- Enter Complete Marketing Design in the Label field.
- Select the Automation tab.

Select the Record data pill picker icon

- Select the Trigger.

Select the trigger record.
Remarque :Your labels may appear slightly differently.

Select Add Condition.
Remarque :You may need to save the changes on the panel and reopen if Add Condition does not appear.

Set the condition to [State] [is] [Design complete].
- Select Save.
- Select the UI Layout tab.
- Remove the This activity > Label data pill from the Title field.

Select the Title data pill picker icon

- Select the Trigger.
- Select the trigger record.

Select Project name.
Remarque :Your labels may appear slightly differently.
- Enter description,special_instructions,design_copy,media_type,external in the Record fields field.
- Enter assigned_to,state in the Form fields field.

Select Associated Record in the Attachment source field.
- Select Save and close.
- Switch to the Review Design stage.
- Select (+).

Select Add a decision.
- Select the Branches tab.
- Enter Is external in the Branch label field.
- Select Add Condition.
- Select Trigger – Marketing Design Request in the Field field.

Select External.

Complete the condition statement with [Trigger-Marketing Design Request] [is] [true].
- Select Save and close.
- Select (+) on the Is external branch.

Select Add an activity.
- Select View Approval Requests under the Global category.
- Select Add Condition on the Automation tab.
- Set the field and operator to [Approval for] [is].

Select the Value data pill picker icon

- Select Trigger.

Select the trigger record.

- Select Save and close.
- Select Activate for the playbook.
- Open the Marketing Services workspace from the Navigator panel.
- Select Record Pages.
- Select Marketing Design Request Record Page.
- Select Record details.
- Select + Add a playbook.
- Enter Playbook in the Tab name field.
- Select Global Playbook Experience in the Playbook experience field.

Select Add.
