Administering Developer Sandboxes

If you have permission, you can allocate and retire the sandboxes you've created in your instance.

Configuration overview

1. Create a sandbox template

   Create a template to reuse generated data in your sandbox.

2. Allocate a sandbox

   Allocate the sandboxes created to your development teams.

3. Requesting sandboxes

   Request a sandbox for development.

4. Retire a sandbox

   Retire sandboxes that are outdated or to make room for new sandboxes in your instance.
