Create a metric unit

Define the units in which the metric scores are displayed. The units can be numbers, percentages, currencies, quantities of time, or any other unit that you define. The commonly used units are provided by default.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_grc_metric.manager, sn_risk.user, and sn_compliance.user

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Advanced Risk Assessment > Metrics > Units.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   Table 1. New metric unit form

   Field	Description
   Name	Name of the unit. For example, $.
   Format	Format of the unit. For example, ${0} displays the value with a currency symbol.
   Unit Family	Family to which the unit belongs. For example, $ can be associated with Currency.

4. To save the metric unit, select Save.

Result

The metric unit is saved in the Units list.
