Update Privacy Content

  • Activate an authority document or risk statement category to install its citations, control objectives, or risk statements into your instance.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. In the Privacy workspace, click the privacy content accelerator icon.
    2. Select the Privacy Frameworks tab or the Risk Statements tab depending on the content you want to activate.
    3. On the authority document card you want to install, click Activate.
      The Activate button appears only when the authority document status is New. A disclaimer dialog opens.
    4. Review the disclaimer.
      The following disclaimer appears on the page:
      The customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, directives, and/or standards, 
      and for ensuring that any content provided in the product is accurate and up to date.
      The content provided with the product is for ease of use. It is the customer's responsibility to replace it with the applicable laws, regulations, directives, and/or standards at their own discretion. 
      This content has been generated with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) and should be reviewed and validated before use.
    5. After reviewing the disclaimer, select Confirm to proceed.
      The installation page opens, showing records associated with the selected authority document.
    6. On the Citations page, review the list of citations and their installation states, then select the citations you want to install.
      Each citation record displays its name, description, and installation state. Citations with a Ready state have not been installed.
    7. Click Next to proceed to the Control Objectives page.
      The control objectives list is filtered to show only control objectives related to the citations you selected in the previous step.
    8. Select the control objectives you want to install, then click Next.
    9. On the summary page, verify the counts of selected citations and control objectives, then click Submit.
      The authority document status changes to Updating while installation is in progress.
    10. Refresh the page to confirm the installation is complete.
      The authority document card status changes to Active, the active version number is displayed, and the button label changes to Update. Installed citation records show the installation state Installed.
    11. To activate a risk statement category, click Activate on the risk statement category card.
      A list of risk statements in that category is displayed.
    12. Review the risk statements and select Submit.
      The risk statements are activated and visible in the risk statement list.
