Add products to a quote

Use the Catalog tab in Quote Management to add products to your quote.

About this task

You can use the Catalog tab to search for and select product offerings from catalogs and add them to your quote. You can choose simple and complex product offerings. Complex product offerings have options for customizing the product by using the product configurator.

Note:

Check your entitlements to see if the product configurator is available.

Procedure

1. In the CSM Configurable Workspace, select the List view.
2. Navigate to Quotes > All and select the quote that you want to work with.
3. Select the Catalog tab.
4. In the product catalog hierarchy, select the product catalog that you want to use.
   The product catalog displays the available products in product offering cards.
5. In the product offering card, select the product.
   • For a simple product that doesn't have any selectable options, select Add.
   • For a configurable product that has options that you can choose, select Customize to open the product configurator for selecting product options.

     As you configure the product, you can reprice, validate, and then save your selections. For details on using the product configurator, see Using Sales Customer Relationship Management applications.

   The product offering is added to the quote as a line item.
