Mobile experience for Event Management

  • You can manage Event Management alerts and services from anywhere using the Event Management mobile application.

    Note:
    The mobile app is announced as deprecated and is no longer supported or available for a new activation.
    The mobile interface displays alerts and services, each of which is organized by either:
    •  Top priority and highest severity alerts, or
    • Top priority services or most critical services

    You can also view alert and service details, perform various actions on alerts and services, create incidents, and add work notes.

    You have a personalized view of your tasks. You can navigate easily to the service status and impacting alerts. The alert form offers simplified navigation and enables you to perform actions:
    • Use Top Priority Alert Options to view urgent alerts which are neither closed, secondary, nor in maintenance. They are sorted by the priority score
    • Use Top Priority Alert Options to view urgent alerts which are neither closed, secondary, nor in maintenance. They are sorted by the priority score.
    • Use Top Priority Services to view business risks based on the most critical and operational issues.

    To work with the Event Management mobile app, you must configure the app on your mobile device. You can also view and configure mobile settings within the app.

    The Event Management mobile app works on both Android and IOS devices. The app runs on the ServiceNow Agent app, which you install from the App Store.

    If you encounter incidents that are not available on the mobile app, ensure that you have installed the ITSM mobile plugin (com.sn_itsm_mobile). For information on plugins, see ServiceNow plugins
