  • Run a mining job on a Task Mining project to generate an analysis of your project data according to your categorization rules so you can make data-driven decisions.

    Before you begin

    Note:
All data requests in a project must be approved in order to run a mining job. If any data request is pending approval and you need to run the job, you can remove that data request from the project first. For information about adding and removing workstation users from a project, see Add workstation users to a Task Mining project.

    Role required: sn_tm_core.analyst, sn_tm_core.power_user, sn_tm_core.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Task Mining Workspace.
    2. Select the name of the project you want to analyze.
    3. Select Mine project.
If this option isn’t available, be sure the project timeline has started and all data requests have been approved.
    4. Optional: Select the Mining Jobs tab to monitor the progress of your mining jobs.

    What to do next

Review your analysis to see whether it needs further refinement. For more information, see Refine the presentation of your data.
