Define how your data is analyzed and visualized

  • Determine how the Task Mining project aggregates your workstation data.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_tm_core.analyst, sn_tm_core.power_user, sn_tm_core.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Task Mining Workspace.
    2. Select the name of the project you want to select an analysis for.
    3. Select the Analysis tab.
    4. Select Select analysis.
    5. Select the analysis you want to use for this project.
      The available options are:
      Overall activity
      Creates a layered overview of all categorized applications workstation users use. Use the Overall activity analysis to see how workstation users use applications in your organization.
      Task activity
      View the time spent and frequency of activities and applications workstation users use during tasks you grouped, such as resolving incidents. Workstation user actions are grouped as tasks to provide the data. For more information about defining tasks, see Define user actions for task logging
    6. Select Add.
