Order Guide Structure
The order guide form consists of three main sections:
- Describe Needs: Displays the order guide’s image, description, and variables that capture user input relevant to the request.
- Choose Options: Lists catalog items included in the order guide based on user inputs and configured rules. Each item is shown in an accordion format with its name, description, and options (fields requiring user input). If fields are mandatory, a red asterisk appears beside options.
- Summary: Provides a final overview of the order guide selections before submitting the request.
Items in the order guide can be either mandatory or optional. If optional, a toggle allows users to include or exclude the item from the request. This toggle is controlled by the Show Include Toggle (Service Portal) setting when configuring the order guide. Excluded items become non-editable and mandatory field validations are bypassed.
