All,
Asking those who implemented or are implementing HAM right now - what are the most practical benefits of implementing HAM?
ITSM already provides some sort of assets management obviously missing out some HAM features but I am wondering what the are most critical aspects of having HAM which really help in daily work?
On my list I have:
- normalization
- dashboards
- ASN
I am skipping:
- OOTB workflows as we would need to rewrite those anyway
- Sourcing, as we will not use SN for creating POs
I am curious everyone's opinion here.
thanks,
Robert

Apart from what you mentioned, there is also hardware asset workspace and improved mobile capabilities (audit, disposal etc.). The following datasheet has detailed information. There is a picture on page 2 which highlights all the feature differences between HAM and ITSM asset management.

Other then what you have already listed, I would say the audit inventory functionality with the mobile app (it helps keeping your stock in check when you do regular checks with your service desk).
If my post helped you, please click the accept solution button and hit the thumbs up! Thank you!
