serial numbers record from cmdb_serial_number table are deleting automatically

Hi Experts,

We are going with the storage discovery and the pattern triggered is "EMC isilon". We have observed recently that the serial number that it is getting it for storage server and node elements are clearing out from the table each time we ran the discovery.

Is this a kind of behavior it has? tried looking up for possible scripts.. Not sure where it is triggering the rule and deleting the records from cmdb_serial_number table.. can anybody please suggest me on this issue????

Thank you for the quick turnaround. I did debug the pattern.. i dont see anything there deleting the serial numbers from table.. this is just deleting the duplicate ones

Check deleted records table of service now for some clue?

Did you check the deletion strategy for EMC isilon. You can check the sa_ci_to_pattern table and see if there is any deletion strategy associated with the serial number table pointing to the Isilon pattern.
