Software usage metering and removal using SCCM

Hi

We use Service Graph Connector for SCCM and have recently configured reclamation rules for software products we want monitored/metered.

My question is; when users have these software products installed on their laptops but have NEVER used them – will SCCM return usage data for these products?

If not, how are removal candidates created for these product installations?

When a software product is not used after installation, SCCM will set the usage date in the usage table as empty or install date

You can use Software Reclamation Rule - Total Hours used to reclaim the license, minimum number of hours to 1.
