getting errors while submitting the order
The configuration on 1 order line does not match any product model. Please check order line: [ORDL0001218]
Pls advise what could be reason and how to fix it.

@Learner-in-Prog - while i was trying this out in our instance, i came across one support document, it says, as below,
"if both csm and telco order management are installed on the same instance. Both sn_csm_order_mgmt and sn_ind_tmt_orm plugins cannot co-exist on the same instance. There are few validations which are hindering order line items to be created if both plugins exist."
may be you are trying form CSM and not installed telecom?

While I cannot confirm without looking at the instance if this is the root cause, it is correct that CSM OM and OMT cannot/should not be installed on the same instance.
