Summary of Document Intelligence properties
Document Intelligence (DocIntel) system properties allow ServiceNow customers to configure and control the behavior of the Document Intelligence application. Notably, starting with the Zurich release, DocIntel is being prepared for future deprecation and will no longer be activated on new instances, though it remains supported. Customers are encouraged to transition to the Now Assist in Document Intelligence application for document information extraction.

The DocIntel Manager role (sndocintel.manager) is required to modify these system properties. The properties differ between versions 2.4 and 3.0+, with version 3.0 introducing new and updated properties.
Key Configuration Properties
For Document Intelligence 2.4, key properties include:
- Sidebar widths: Customize the default widths of the fields panel and thumbnail sidebar in pixels.
- Image fit: Set how documents are displayed in the viewer (fit to page or width).
- Field sidebar layout: Position the document fields panel to the left or right of the sidebar.
- Display options: Enable or disable exact match options and confidence score visibility for recommended fields.
- Thresholds: Define score thresholds for showing warnings, autofilling recommendations, and enabling straight-through processing.
For Document Intelligence 3.0 and later, properties include all above aspects with updated naming conventions and an additional property for controlling the minimum days between trainings of document classifiers.
