Delete a Now Assist AI web agent chat log

After you close a web agent session, you can delete its chat. Deleting your chat log permanently erases the chat history of that session, including screenshots.

Vorbereitungen

• Close at least one interaction with a Now Assist AI web agent. Active chats can't be deleted.
• Role required: none. Only the user who opened the web agent session can delete the session's chat.

Warum und wann dieser Vorgang ausgeführt wird

As you are interacting with a Now Assist AI web agent, the text of your conversation with the web agent is recorded in a chat log. The screenshots taken during the session are also recorded in the chat.

While running in Now Assist panel, the Web agent view pane displays the following notice from the title's information icon :

Screenshots are being captured by the system. You can delete the chat log if any sensitive information was captured.

After your chat session is closed, its title is listed in your Now Assist panel under the Closed section. A delete icon appears when you hover your cursor over the chat title.

Review your chat log by selecting its title. Use the following procedure if you decide to permanently delete your chat log from chat history.

Prozedur

1. In the Now Assist panel, navigate to Now Assist > Chats > Closed.
   You may need to select the context menu icon in the Now Assist panel to display the list of closed chats.
2. Locate the title of your web agent session and hover your cursor over it.
   Hinweis:

   The title of your chat may default to the name of the workflow used with the Now Assist AI web agent. The chat title was displayed as a banner while the session was running.
3. Select the delete icon which appeared when you hovered the cursor over the session title.
   A dialog box appears with the question Delete this chat?

   

4. Select Delete to permanently delete the chat, or Cancel to preserve the chat log.

Ergebnisse

The chat history and its screenshots are deleted from the system.
