    Key Features

    • Access: Available by navigating to Workspaces > Process Mining Workspace, then opening a project and selecting Analyst Workbench.
    • Breakdown Filters: Create, delete, and apply advanced filters on parent tables to segment and analyze data. Filters can be applied to breakdowns for various elements via selection in tables or the process map. Transition filters allow detailed filtering based on process transitions.
    • Variation Analysis: View detailed routes taken by process records, including metrics like number of cases, average duration, and steps. Selecting a route highlights it on the process map for visual correlation.
    • Process Map: A visual interactive map displaying the business process. Users can drill down to understand workflows, view routes based on KPIs, and select nodes or transitions for detailed modal windows with bar chart histograms.
    • Modal Windows: Provide additional insights such as distribution, repetition, duration, and occurrences for nodes and transitions. Users can apply filters directly from these insights.
    • Investigate Options: From modal windows, users can run background scheduled tasks for cluster analysis, worknotes analysis, automated root cause analysis, or apply transition filters, facilitating deeper process diagnostics.
    • Customization: Options to auto-fit long node names and selectively hide incoming or outgoing connections in multi-table projects enhance usability and clarity.
    • Dashboard Integration: Most process map functionalities can be replicated and configured within dashboards for streamlined access and visualization.

    Key Outcomes

    • Enables comprehensive visualization of business process workflows to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
    • Facilitates granular filtering and breakdowns, improving targeted analysis and decision-making.
    • Supports advanced analytical tasks like cluster and root cause analyses, enhancing problem identification and resolution insights.
    • Improves user experience through customization and integration with configurable dashboards, allowing flexible monitoring and reporting.

    Breakdown filters

Use the Breakdown Filters tab to create and delete filter sets, and set advanced filter conditions.

View breakdowns for different elements using the Selected table drop-down, or selecting elements within the process map.

    Note:
You can apply breakdown filters only on parent tables. However, the breakdown statistics are available on both child and parent tables.

Select a node or transition line within the map to view additional details about the selected item in a modal window.

These windows contain bar chart histograms displaying additional information.
    • Select a node to view distribution or repetition information.
    • Select a transition line to view duration or repetition information.

Select a bar, and select Apply as filter to filter by these results.

When you select a node, the modal window displays the outgoing and incoming distribution of records via the selected node.

This information is displayed in the Records from and Records to collapsible sections.

From the Investigate drop-down, you can also view the relevant records, run cluster analysis, root cause analysis, or apply a transition. These tasks are run using scheduled tasks that run in the background.
