According to the report, “Automation is a key component of CCM. FinOps teams can review and approve resource and cost recommendations via workflow. Then, they can quickly click to implement changes immediately for non-production. All of these changes are tracked in ServiceNow's IT service management solution. Many customers utilize the built-in scheduler to make changes during the production change window. Tag management and categories also help FinOps teams save time with better reporting and aiding in cost chargebacks.” The report also notes that ServiceNow “can offer recommendations to maximize value and reduce waste across an enterprise's IT spending landscape. This can be helpful as organizations that bring their own licenses (BYOLs) to the cloud often struggle to manage the complexity.”
