Hi Team,
I was trying the labs in Now Learning for "Telecommunications, Media, and Technology Essentials" lab1 on my PDI (Vancouver). The use case is like:
A Broadband product specification has a customer facing service spec (Internet) which can be implemented either through a Internet over Copper or Internet over Fiber specs. Below is the hierarchy diagram.
Steps:
1) A customer initially ordered for a Broadband offering with speed charac = Fast which resulted in active inventory records as below:
2) For this active product, customer placed a Change order to downgrade from fast to slow. Speed charac value was changed from Fast to Slow. As part of this downgrade the expectation was the Internet over Fiber inventory record will be de-activated and a Internet over Copper will be activated. However at the end of the change order completion, below is how the product inventory looked:
Is this an issue in the TMT OOTB application or is there any configuration that I am missing?

Hello @Aneesh-D ,
Your expectations of the results are correct i.e., the inventory record 'Internet over Fibre' should have moved to the 'Inactive' state post order completion. TMT OOTB behaviour moves such a record being disconnected to Inactive state post domain order completion.
To validate, I tried the exact same scenario and can see this working as expected (except for different Product/Service names).
Check below -->
Sorry about your experience with the Lab, we can get this checked.
There is a remote possibility that you have some misconfiguration in your instance. This can be checked separately.
Also, may I suggest you to use the Telecom Industry Solution community forum for a faster response to any questions related to TMT products?
Regards
Shashank

Not tried this Lab, but I see it happening in other Labs too, when things don't work as expected, but I guess they have a lot to catch up.
