I have a CMDB Query that shows self Managed Clouds (SMC) but I also want to include the owner of the SMC in the result listing

I found what I was looking for.

Clicking on the Class element in the Query canvas enabled me to 'Add another column' (in the righthand options box) and this presented me with a drop down of data elements that included owned_by.

Ran the query again and the new listing included the populated column for owner

You can use owned_by field from the cmdb table you are using in CMDB Query.

Hope it helps

Thanks.  I've been looking for owned_by but it's not in the list of CMDB Classes in the left-hand selection column.  I'll have to dig further into the Query to see what table is being used; clearly it's not the right one.

This is only my 2nd attempt at CMDB Query builder and I'm feeling my way.

every cmdb table has owned_by field, i think you might be looking in non-cmdb tables in query builder
