ADO and SN integration - connection error

I was making connection between Azure DevOps(using a Service Account) and ServiceNow(using my personal login) and got this error:

Instance : ADOSNIntegrationInstance, Action : Connect, Message : Connection failed. For details, see flow execution logs. Error : An execution timed out with timeout of 45000 MILLISECONDS

Can someone advise on the resolution please?

When I tried connecting both using my personal login, it connected successfully.

Hi @Mercy2 ,

There can be various reasons for the authentication to fail such as: Not providing the correct authentication as expected by the platform, not having sufficient access on the admin side, not connecting in a way that the authentication method allows/expects, plus many more. Just by the error you are receiving it would be difficult to pinpoint the issue exactly.

Can I ask what you are trying to achieve with this integration and what you are trying to sync between the two platforms?

Setting up this kind of connection does take some effort and trial and error to configure correctly. I would advise using a specialised solutions for this to make sure you don't have to deal with the various system requirements and complexities for setting up this kind of integration.

Exalate is a great and market leading solution in this respect and provides a very easy way to setup a connection between these platforms (plus many others) and provides great flexibility in sending pretty much anything you need from on side to another (Bi-directionally or Uni-directionally it is your call, or anything in between).

if you need any further support please let me know.
