Notification to a Group is also send to non-members

Hello everyone,

It looks like "Incident assigned to my group" notification is also send to some non-members of an Assignment group, most likely because their manager is a member. However, we have another, custom created, notification to an Assignment group which does not behaves this way. Both notifications are configured basically the same way.

"Exclude delegates" option is unchecked in both cases - if this is an option responsible for this behavior.

Any ideas?

Also check if the assignment group have any "group email"

Try to impersonate a user who is getting the email and click on the settings button in their profile and come to notification page as below screenshot:

The user might have created some personal notifications for themselves. Even if the notification is not subscribable, they can perform this action.

Guys, sorry for delayed response.

I created some test tickets and managed to narrow this down to one user, who is receiving notification for SCTASKs but not for INCs, but he IS a member of a group. I impersonated him, checked his notification settings and found nothing weird. If he managed to unsubscribe from INC notification, where this could be checked?

Email log usually provides list of recipients excluded because of notification settings, but in this case, only recipients list is different - with him missing on INC notification.
