SharePoint search integration

We are trying to display the Knowledge articles (from ServiceNow) in the SharePoint search and wanted to get some ideas from the experts here on the same.

One of the key elements is if the user criteria defined in ServiceNow will further filter the results (Knowledge articles) based on the user initiating the search from SharePoint

Any help is much appreciated.

If you are only displaying the results in Service Portal. You can create a widget that will query and display Sharepoint materials in the portal search page and even typeahead. User criteria on SharePoint results will not work as it should respect SharePoints security permissions.

In London, you can integrate External Knowledge sources also.

Thank you for your reply, but i'm looking for the opposite use case i.e. initiating the search from SharePoint to fetch KB articles in ServiceNow
