Is AI Search Synonyms are the only way to give some short cuts to the AI search?

Hello,

Is really  AI Search Synonyms the only way to give some shortcuts to the AI search? I need to enter some shortcuts or abbreviations to AI search then I need to get the related search results. without giving any synonyms, the above question is possible in any other ways?

Synonyms are the way to bring in results that don't match the contents of the entered search terms. Meaning, if you would like the search term 'AA' to match 'anti-aliasing' in your content, you will need to create a synonym. Any time 'AA' is entered, the query will update to include 'anti-aliasing'. You can also add information to the meta field if you would like the article/result to be returned for those additional terms, but without adding it to the content. 

You can also use the 'Promote' action in the Result Improvement Rules to make specific articles appear at the top of the list, 'pinning' them for specific queries or personas.
