how can we do service mapping manually

Hi @subbalakshmd ,

To do service mapping manually , I have done it some time back below are the few steps I used :

What are the entry points

Type/Quantity of loadbalancers / web servers / application servers / databases and their respective versions , ports and path/filenames.

Then we used to have a discussion with the person managing the data center and then take the architecture diagram from them 

Then we used to analyse for any firewalls or port restrictions and then we used to create service maps.

If using the APM, you can manually build relationships from Application Services to Server CIs.
This type of info can be helpful later when using the ML Machine Learning Mapping option.
