Hello experts,
One of our customers has SCCM bringing in end points in to ServiceNow. They use SAM pro, currently they're consuming more than what they have subscribed for. They use SCCM, SN discovery is not in place. Customer does not want to pay for the excessive licenses used.
e.g. Customer subscribed for 1500 SAM units
Currently consuming 2500 SAM units.
How to remove excessive licenses they currently consume?
How to manage going forward to be within limit?
What would be the steps to manually remove/manage excess license going forward?
thanks regards
Mansor

Hi Mansour
Sam pro licenses are contributed from server, euc devices , SaaS subscription users etc .
Server it's 1:1
Computer 1:4
SaaS Subscriptions 1:15
If you are using servicenow discovery or any discovery tool you need to control your IP ranges which is discovering devices and installed softwares. Start with IP reduction from discovery schedules.
