one of the key features of Discovery is determining the installed software on the target server. See https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-it-operations-management/page/product/discovery/concept... for more information.

for generic software discovery, please check the following part of the documentation - General software package discovery (servicenow.com). The tables you'r looking for are "cmdb_ci_spkg" and "cmdb_software_instance".

Hi,
For Windows I am fine to generate the Installed software list from this "cmdb_software_instance" but for Linux platform It is showing only RPM name and it is lot of rpm list in single server(around 800+).
could we have any option to get the Installed application list instead of each rpm name?
Thanks,
Nagarajan.
