Create and edit application menus and modules directly in the Platform All menu.
Next Experience All Menu Editing is a simplified configuration interface within the Next Experience that enables you to create and manage application menus, navigation modules, and page layouts directly in context. Instead of navigating to UI16 platform records, you can configure navigation structure,
lists, forms, and actions inline with real-time visual feedback.
Use Next Experience All Menu Editing to:
Create, rename, reorder, and configure application menus and modules from a single interface
Configure list columns, actions, and form layouts directly on the page
Define and manage interactions for list and form actions using UI Interactions
Set up data visualizations, including time-series charts, with end-to-end validation
Remarque :
Administrators can disable Next Experience All Menu Editing for their organization by setting a system user preference. When turned off, administrators use the classic UI16 configuration workflow for application menus and modules.
Next Experience All Menu Editing UI
Next Experience All Menu Editing opens within the Next Experience workspace and presents a two-panel layout. Use the application menu tree to browse, add, and reorder modules. The editor panel displays either a configuration form or a live page preview, depending on what
you select. All changes made in the Next Experience All Menu editor are saved automatically as you make edits.Figure 1. Next Experience All Menu Editing UI
When you select an application menu name in the menu content tree, the editing panel displays the App Menu Page. This page includes a form for editing menu properties and contextual cards linking to documentation and common tasks.Figure 2. Application Menu UI
When you select a module, the editor panel updates to show the page preview with a contextual configuration pane. You can edit module properties, configure list columns, and manage actions without leaving the page.Figure 3. Module Editing UI
Next experience modules
These modules can be created, configured, and edited directly within Next Experience All Menu Editing:
These modules can be added to an All menu but must be edited using the classic UI16 configuration workflow:
List of records
URL
Documentation link
New record
Run a report
Map page
Assessment
Timeline page
HTML
Search screen
List filter
Organize the application menu
Use folders and line separators to create a clear, navigable structure that improves user productivity. Well-organized menus help you find what they need faster by grouping related functionality and visually separating distinct
areas of your application.
