Delete a report

  • Delete reports that are no longer used.

    Before you begin

    Role required: report_admin

    This topic refers to Reporting in the Core UI. For instances migrated to Platform Analytics experience and new Australia instances, see Delete a visualization in the Visualization Designer.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to sys_report.list.
      On instances with Unified Analytics enabled, and on new Australia instances, both Core UI reports and Platform Analytics experience data visualizations are found in the Platform Analytics library. Navigate to All > Platform Analytics > Library > Data Visualizations and select New. For more information, see Differences between Core UI and Platform Analytics dashboards.
    2. Select the report to delete.
    3. On the report's form, select View Report.
    4. When the report opens, select the Delete icon (Delete icon).
    5. Confirm that you want to delete the report.

    Result

    The selected report is removed, and is no longer available to share, publish, or view.

    Delete multiple reports

    Delete multiple reports that are no longer used.

    Before you begin

    Role required: report_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Reports > Administration > All.
    2. Select the boxes next to the reports that you want to delete.
    3. From the Action on selected rows menu, select Delete.
      If you select reports that you aren’t allowed to delete, the menu indicates that a smaller number will be deleted.
    4. Confirm that you want to delete the report.

    Result

    The selected reports are removed, and are no longer available to share, publish, or view.
