How to add multiple URL in the HR task

Hi all,

We have a requirement to add multiple URL to a single HR task. Currently, OOB we have an option to add only one URL in the HR template.

In the similar way, we want to display multiple URL's in the HR task and is there a way to change the text "Click here to open" as per requirement.

Hi, Niranjani,

ServiceNow considers the URL task type as a single event. You will have to create multiple tasks, each with its own URL.

One (wonky) workaround could be to to use the rich text Description field on the task and embed the list of URLs that are needed. If you go that route, you would make the task type as "Mark complete." However, you won't be able to know the user actually clicked on each link as you do with the URL task type.

I would suggest multiple tasks, each with its own URL. You will also have the flexibility to assign an audience to each task.

Hi @Niranjani ,

You cannot add multiple URLs in a HR task. You will have to create multiple HR tasks having a URL each.
