Hi All,

We have a requirement in HR lifecycle event onboarding where we need to trigger the HR Task activity based on a condition.

Is it possible to trigger the activity in the HR lifecycle event based on condition?

Can anybody help me on this?

Thanks in Advance

Hi

As far as I know, you can not trigger single activities, but only Activity Sets.

If you need to create a sort of dependency between the activities within the same activity set, you can use the Activity Container. (From the doc page: "this activity type enables you to manage the dependencies of activities within an activity set. You can use activity containers to order activities, in parallel or sequence, as well as configure multiple activity containers within an activity set.")

If my reply has helped in any way, kindly mark it helpful/correct. Thanks!

@Vidya Shree This is core functionality in the EO&T product. We use an Audience to place conditions on Activities. This is the way you can have one activity trigger for one user but not another (trigger on conditions). Are you familiar with the Audience in HRSD? Here is more helpful information:

@michaelj.sheridan How would you recommend setting the audience if the activity trigger is based on a field on parent case form or previous activity RP?

I would need to have a full understanding of your use case to make a definitive recommendation. This is an option, but other options may be available based on our use case. If you can detail the specifics, as a group we can understand fully what you are trying to solve for, and can give guidance accordingly.
