In the Project Management module, We are using 'Import from MS project' on a project record and the schedules are created a nested project tasks. When a project state is changed eg: set to 'Closed complete' hitting a performance problem with nested projects tasks. The business rule 'Process state change' which is OOTB is set to trigger 'before' on the project table causing the performance issue. Also When any change is made to any record in the structure, it takes longer.
