As a requirement, I have a well defined list of application menus and modules to show for itil users. However there are 30+ mostly OOTB roles they inherit just from having 'itil' and some more for being members in various groups. Because of this, they can see a lot of menus that they never use, it's just confusing and makes navigation harder than it should be.
Is there a tool or template that I can use to control this without having to
a) change the role inheritance structure
b) update the role requirements on each application menu and module record (by removing all of the inherited roles and adding some role that nobody has)?
Unfortunately 'Menu lists' are not supported in UI16/Polaris.
